How to Configure Messenger
  • Operating System: Windows 95
  • Application: Comscape Messenger
  • Application Version: 4.x
  • Click the Start button.
  • From the Start menu, point to Comscape Communicator and choose Comscape Navigator.

    Select Netscape Navigator from the Start Menu

  • From the menu bar, click Edit and choose Preferences.
  • From Mail & Groups click the Identity link.

    Select Identity

  • In the Full Name text box, type your name.
  • In the Email Address text box, type your Cboss username, followed by @cboss.com. For example: username@cboss.com

    Provide Your Identity information

  • From Mail & Groups click the Mail Server link.

    Select Mail Server

  • In the Mail server username text box, type your username.
  • In the Outgoing mail [SMTP] server text box, type smtp.cboss.com
  • In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type mail.cboss.com
  • Select POP3 (messages and folders are kept localy, on the hard disk)

    Provide Mail Server information

  • Click the OK button to close the window.
